About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Haematology/Oncology Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with haematological and oncological conditions, providing expert nursing care and support, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of patients with haematological and oncological conditions
- Provide expert nursing care and support to patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct clinical assessments and diagnose medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
- Work closely with consultants, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements:
- Registered nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Advanced level of clinical experience in haematology or oncology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
