Compassionate Care Support Role

The successful candidate will be working as a Care Assistant/Support Worker in residential and respite services.
Key responsibilities include participating actively in recreational, educational, and training programmes of service users, fostering social skills, implementing person-centered approaches, conducting risk assessments, and providing a safe environment.
- Organise and participate in activities that promote the well-being of service users.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- Contribute to creating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Implement effective care plans and review them regularly.
- Support service users' medication management and provide timely interventions when required.
- Hold a minimum of QQI Level 5 in Health Care/Social Care or similar qualification.
- Have at least one year's experience working as a Care Assistant, preferably with intellectual disability experience.
- Possess a Full Clean Driving Licence.
- Exhibit leadership skills, resilience, empathy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, respect for dignity and privacy, and strong planning and organisational skills.
