Lead Compliance and Risk Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and support the compliance and risk functions within our Irish entity.

  • Act as the designated compliance and risk officer under the Central Bank of Ireland’s (CBI) regime
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes in Ireland
  • Assess the impact of new Central Bank rules or business development on the organization

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all central bank regulatory reports, returns, and notifications are submitted on time. Additionally, they will provide regulatory guidance and advice to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Implementing and maintaining a robust compliance framework
  2. Conducting regular risk assessments and providing recommendations for mitigation strategies
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Head of Compliance or Senior Manager Compliance role
  • Proven experience working within the insurance industry with the CBI
  • PCF approval by the CBI
