Master Data Governance Specialist

A Data Governance Specialist is required to oversee the master data agenda across various brands and systems, ensuring consistency in definitions and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Implement master data management and governance frameworks.
- Manage strategic activities related to master data management.
- Establish and manage master data ownership and responsibilities.
- Ensure data quality across Material, Customer, Vendor, and Consumer domains.
- Work closely with product, customer, and operations teams to understand their data requirements and ensure that master data supports business processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate master data management processes into existing systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with the master data governance CoE to ensure appropriate technical systems are introduced and established across relevant data domains.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures in collaboration with the audit team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Establish and lead the appropriate governance structure within for data quality, including data stewards, process data owners, and Data Governance councils.
- Regularly audit master data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Lead the development and implementation of master data management processes within the newly created Data Hub.
- Implement data quality frameworks and tools to monitor and improve the quality of master data.
