Senior Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity

We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our Adult Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their clinical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment, working with adults who have intellectual disabilities.

About the Role
  • As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to adults with intellectual disabilities, under the direction of the SLT Manager.
  • You will work closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues to achieve outstanding outcomes and contribute to the development of the Adult Services SLT strategy and workplan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Supervise staff as required to ensure consistent high standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Speech and Language Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience as a Speech and Language Therapist, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • Experience working with adults who have intellectual disabilities and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
