Job Title: Senior Speech Language TherapistWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech Language Therapist to join our team.About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Speech Language Therapist to make a real difference in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to adults with intellectual disabilities, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.

  • To develop and implement therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.

  • To provide supervision and training to junior staff members, promoting their professional development and ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality services.

  • To contribute to the development of the Adult Services SLT strategy and workplan, ensuring that services are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.

  • Registration as a Speech Language Pathologist with the relevant professional body.

  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Speech Language Therapist, preferably in a community-based setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
