Electrical Project Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of key projects, involving daily liaison with suppliers, Site Supervisors, EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend project start-up meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Become familiar with all project details and specifications, including technical submittals and RFI's.
  • Oversee the collection and approval of technical submittals, raising and managing RFI's to resolve project queries.
  • Manage labour tracking and progress reports, addressing changes and variations in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with main contractors and client-based site teams to ensure project delivery and meet expectations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of project plant and equipment, maintaining adequate materials inventory to complete projects on time.
  • Develop construction and commissioning programmes, implementing commission plans on site and ensuring regular snag lists and improvements to enhance project quality.
  • Manage the handover process and maintain documentation systems, scheduling project-specific tasks and meeting with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services, preferably with experience in successfully delivering large electrical projects.
  • Technical support experience desirable, along with self-motivation and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent English language proficiency is essential for effective communication and collaboration.
