Automation Specialist Position Overview

  • The role involves designing, implementing and validating automation solutions in a pharmaceutical setting.
  • Key responsibilities include developing batch recipes, supporting lifecycle management of batch processes, commissioning activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (GMP, GAMP5).

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Proficiency with DeltaV systems and strong understanding of ISA-88 batch control principles.
  • Hands-on experience in commissioning and qualification of automation systems.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GAMP5, and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple project timelines.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Experience with MES integration or other control platforms is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project execution.
