We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Care Assistant in Dublin, Ireland.
This role involves providing high-quality care to residents in our facilities, promoting their comfort, safety, and well-being.
As a Residential Care Assistant, you will play an essential part in supporting the daily living activities of our residents, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal support.
You will also provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for our residents, monitor and document changes in their physical and mental health, and support them with mobility and physical exercises to promote independence.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and will be able to work effectively within a team while demonstrating initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and document changes in residents' health
- Support residents with mobility and physical exercises
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in resident living areas
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Engage in ongoing training and development
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a care assistant or in a related field is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work effectively within a team while demonstrating initiative
- Willingness to relocate to Dublin, Ireland
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in healthcare or social care are advantageous
