We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Leader of Residential Care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to vulnerable adults.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care services that meet the needs of our residents. This will involve planning, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
As a leader, you will be expected to create a safe and therapeutic environment that promotes the well-being and dignity of our residents. You will also be responsible for promoting resident rights and well-being across physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual domains.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining high standards of care and ensuring that we meet and exceed regulatory requirements.
- Leading a team of care professionals to deliver person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a relevant qualification in Social Care, Psychology, or a related field (minimum Level 7 on the NFQ). You should also have completed formal registration with CORU, including recognition of international qualifications or already registered with CORU.
A strong background in residential care, preferably in a senior or leadership role, is essential for this position. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
