Saint John of God Community Services Liffey Services supports individuals with intellectual disabilities to be active participants within the community that they live.
St John of God Liffey Services invites applications for Social Care Leader/PIC based in our community residential within the Dublin South-West area to provide support to individuals with an intellectual disability.
Social Care Leader/PIC - Respite/Residential Services Permanent - Full Time (Ref No: RESPIT039) Applications are invited for the position of Social Care Leader/PIC who will have responsibility for co-ordinating and leading the continued provision and development of meaningful, person-centred services/ supports and opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities who avail of residential and respite services in the Dublin South West area.
The successful candidates will have: A relevant 3rd level qualification in the area of Nursing, Health or Social Care is essential.
A qualification in Management and Supervisory experience is essential.
Minimum 3 years paid experience working with people with intellectual disability is essential.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of H.I.Q.A and relevant legislation.
Experience of working in a residential setting, delivering person centred services to adults with intellectual disability is desirable.
Demonstrate evidence of continued commitment to professional development.
