Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned developer to utilize their problem-solving skills in collaboration with product owners, cross-functional teams, and QA to deliver high-quality functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project source code and documentation effectively.
  • Develop and maintain customized reports, views, stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
  • Ensure version control and documentation are up-to-date.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex database problems efficiently.
  • Provide expert advice on Oracle features and best practices.
  • Bonus skill: knowledge of Oracle's spatial extensions would be advantageous due to the geospatial component involved in the project.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
  • Deep understanding of code version management and code promotion practices within an enterprise environment.
  • Solid knowledge of source control tools.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with effort estimation and requirements gathering.
  • Database tuning and performance monitoring skills.
  • Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Familiarity with preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
