Job Title: Senior Administrative Professional

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Description:

The Child and Family Agency's primary goal is to provide a range of statutory functions, including child protection, alternative care, and family support services. The agency has an ongoing improvement program focused on practice, culture, and structure.

As a senior administrative professional, you will work within the agency's structure and across all service areas. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the monitoring and control of resources according to relevant regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records as required by law.
  • Promoting good working practices and uniformity of standards.
  • Working with management to ensure adherence to legislative frameworks and internal policies.
  • Undertaking duties assigned in line with relevant policy, procedure, and legislation.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of integrated management reports across performance indicators, human resources, finance, IT, and risk management.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level administration support for business operations.
  • Deputizing as necessary.
  • Leading or supporting ongoing projects and initiatives within the Area Managers Office.
  • Assisting with policy development, research, and quality assurance.
  • Liaising with relevant services to ensure training on new policies and key policies requiring refresher courses.
  • Developing and maintaining processes for monitoring the implementation of business plans.
  • Coordinating responses to queries and requests for information from the Area Managers Office to National Operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have at least 2 years' administrative experience in a designated office.
  • Must possess sufficient administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the grade/post.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

  • A candidate for and any person holding the position must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the position and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
