**About the Role:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Care Worker to join our team at Saint John of God Community Services Clg. As a key member of our staff, you will provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and meeting the health and social care needs of residents;
- Developing and implementing individualized plans to promote independence and quality of life;
- Providing education and training on skills development and risk management;
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
**Essential Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Level 7 degree in a relevant field, such as Social Care or Applied Social Studies;
- A Diploma in Social Care or RNID qualification;
- A minimum of one year's experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities;
- Knowledge and understanding of HIQA Standards and relevant legislative requirements under the Health Act 2007.
