The Senior Manager QC Microbiology plays a pivotal role in overseeing the QC Microbiology Release Testing and Environmental Monitoring laboratory.
This department is responsible for conducting product testing and monitoring the sterile manufacturing environment to ensure sterility assurance standards are met.
The laboratory also supports New Product Introduction and Qualification activities related to manufacturing areas.
The Senior Manager leads investigations, troubleshooting, and champions continuous improvement initiatives within their area.
Responsibilities:- Setting strategic goals and managing performance to align with company objectives while prioritizing safety.
- Providing clear direction and guidance to team members to foster collaboration and efficiency.
- Ensuring quality and compliance requirements are executed as established in site-specific SOPs and corporate guidelines.
- Managing multiple competing priorities, including site and functional responsibilities, to drive business success.
- Communicating effectively with the team and stakeholders to promote transparency and understanding.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related science discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in GMP Aseptic or Sterile Manufacturing environments.
- Strong Environmental Monitoring management expertise in a sterile manufacturing site is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and partners.
