Project Design Lead

We are seeking an experienced Project Design Lead to oversee the design coordination of projects, develop designs, produce workshop drawings and manage coordination between departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To take full responsibility for the project's design coordination
  • To ensure technical excellence across all projects
  • To provide a focus for the pre-construction phase design processes
  • To audit designs and identify inconsistencies
  • To manage the production and control of the design programme
  • To review the development of designs with stakeholders
  • To manage the production and approval of samples and quality benchmarks

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction sector
  • Degree certification in a relevant subject is desirable
  • To be knowledgeable in current building regulations and H&S legislation
  • A passion for design, commitment to excellence and focus on continuous improvement
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to stay focused
  • Excellent organisational skills
