Production Operations Lead

As a Production Operations Lead, you'll oversee maintenance activities and collaborate with engineers and vendors.

About the Role
  • Coordinate PMs and assist with mechanical repairs to equipment and processes.
  • Identify and carry out preventative maintenance outside formal maintenance programs.
  • Provide technical support for production lines and their supporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical repairs to high-speed packing, automation, electro/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and facilities maintenance.
  • Setting up and changing over machines for different products.
  • General facility maintenance.
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification with strong aptitude and wide-ranging mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Able to read mechanical schematic drawings, use a multi-meter, and troubleshoot electrical faults.
  • Good understanding of automation and automated environments.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a maintenance department/team in a manufacturing/production environment.
