Procurement Strategist

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement category strategies across a broad range of indirect spend areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies across technology, professional services, HR, facilities and related services.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organisational goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to inform strategic decision making.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to ensure value creation and cost efficiency.
  • Manage supplier relationships to drive performance and innovation.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years experience in indirect procurement with exposure to technology and professional services.
  • A track record of developing category strategies that deliver measurable benefits.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience of market and spend analysis.
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation experience.
  • A procurement qualification is desirable but not essential.
