About the Job

We are seeking a Procurement and Contract Management Specialist to join our team as a Commercial Manager. This role involves leading the commercial management of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering commercial strategies that meet business objectives and ensuring that all commercial aspects of projects are successfully managed and controlled.

  • Lead the commercial management of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on commercial issues, including reviewing project budget trackers and managing cost-to-complete forecasts.
  • Manage monthly valuations, payment applications, and cash collection to maximize returns.
  • Ensure variation accounts and dayworks applications are reviewed and updated monthly.
  • Manage the subcontract process to protect company interests.
  • Carry out timely final account preparation and agreement.
