Manufacturing Operations Specialist

This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of the process automation team in a greenfield manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day operations across the site's campus where the Building Management System (BMS) is implemented.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations personnel to troubleshoot issues, make changes to control systems according to site change control procedures and standards.
  • Respond to system events and perform routine computer system maintenance checks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in Biopharma engineering, operations or manufacturing.
  • Experience with Siemens Desigo CC application, PLC/HMI configuration, industrial communication protocols, and Systems performing backup and restore, disaster recovery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a keen technical curiosity, and a desire for continuous improvement are required.

As a Manufacturing Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise for BMS design, development, installation, testing, validation, and lifecycle support. You will lead and oversee the work being delivered by equipment vendors and trade partners, ensuring that BMS software design, coding/configuration, and testing meet standards and operational needs.
