The overall aim of this role is to ensure the highest quality standard of care is delivered to the service users and to empower persons with a disability to achieve their short- and long-term goals while mastering their independent living skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering high-quality care to service users;
  • Empowering individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential;
  • Leading a team of healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to management as required;
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • A Nursing Degree (registered in the relevant Division of the Live Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or entitled to be so registered);
  • OR a Level 8 Degree in Social Care or CORU registration;
  • AND at least three years' managerial experience within the Health Sector;
  • Hold a recognised Managerial Qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
