Our client provides community-based and residential services that cater to the unique needs of each service user. The role of a social care assistant is multifaceted, requiring a positive, communicative person who can provide support in all aspects of daily life.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with service users, and be flexible in their approach to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include supporting service users in their daily routines, assisting with personal care tasks, and promoting independence and autonomy. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of care plans and participate in regular training and education sessions to enhance their knowledge and skills.
