Adult Support Role

This position involves supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in community-based settings, focusing on assisting with independent living skills and integration into the community.

Key Requirements:
  • FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or similar qualification.
  • At least one year of experience working with vulnerable adults or those with intellectual disabilities.
  • A good understanding of HIQA regulations and National Standard policies.
  • Expertise in person-centred care and planning.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of current policy and developments in Social Care within disability services.
  • The ability to follow plans and methods for individual needs.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
