Job Title: Structural Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze steel, concrete, masonry, timber structures to relevant codes and standards.
- Design and analyze foundations & geotechnical structures.
- Utilize engineering software such as Statica, Axis VM FEM Modelling, Tekla Tedds for analysis and design tasks.
- Prepare technical reports, Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Scopes of Work, and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Develop design calculations, wind load designs, sketches, and provide information to designers on assigned projects.
- Collaborate with designers in preparing CAD drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and communicate with other disciplines to accommodate their requirements.
- Support the development of a lessons learnt database.
- Ensure all work is carried out with a positive attitude.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum MEng (Hons) University Degree in Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years' broad post-qualification experience in a competitive working environment.
- Focused on achieving IStructE chartered status within 5 years post-qualification experience.
