Business Systems Analyst Position Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Technology & Information Systems to implement process change throughout the organization. The role involves delivering business solutions and requirements in line with the business demands through continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver business solutions and requirements in line with business demands through continuous improvement\
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for system enhancements and new projects\
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and optimization\
  • Design and document system requirements, including data models, user interfaces, workflows, and integration points\
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of new systems and software, including data migration and user training\
  • Provide a key link between the business and IS for change implementation, ensuring effective communication within the business are followed\
  • Provide ongoing support to business users, troubleshoot system issues, and implement enhancements as needed\
  • Manage relationships with software vendors, including contract negotiation, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance monitoring\
  • Analyze data to extract meaningful insights and provide recommendations for data-driven decision-making\
  • Work on the automation and integration of existing and new systems\
  • Provide regular progress reports to management\
  • Deliver weekly RAG status updates to management\
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the business, including training delivery\
  • Have a computer science degree and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role\
  • Familiarity with the full project lifecycle\
  • Strong business analyst skills to accurately determine business requirement\
  • Naturally analytical approach to work and systematic approach to problem-solving\
  • A methodical approach and attention to detail to ensure the development and implementation of effective solutions\
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously\
  • Effective communication skills to present complex information in a clear and concise manner\
  • Good interpersonal and client/stakeholder-handling skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail\
  • Experience of using Business Intelligence, ERP and CRM applications\
  • Flexibility to travel freely within the EU and between EU & UK\
