Job Opportunity: Support Individuals in Residential Settings

Candidates with a passion for supporting individuals with daily living activities are sought after by a leading organisation in the disability sector.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a residential setting, empowering service users to live independent lives within their home and community. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting service users with all aspects of daily life
  • Transporting service users to access daily living activities
  • Participating in household duties such as cooking, laundry, cleaning, and shopping
  • Maintaining professional relationships with colleagues
  • Awareness of safe working conditions and implementing safe practices
  • Engaging in team meetings, supervisions, training, and events
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • QQI relevant qualification within the Healthcare Sector - Minimum Level 5
  • Applicants must be 18+
  • Full clean manual driving license and access to own transport
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of HIQA standards
  • Work or student experience in social care or relevant sector
