The Mobility Lab Team

We create new environments and support existing ones for developers, test teams, and customers.

Datacenter Engineer Role

  • Build and maintain mobility test and development labs for internal and external customers.
  • Maintain internal infrastructure and systems that provide services for mobility labs.
  • Integrate with existing networks and deployed systems.
  • Document procedures and frameworks for supporting deployed systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure hardware (servers, switches, routers, power distribution units).
  • Run, label, and dress cabling for interconnected systems.
  • Linux and Windows administration.
  • Security posturing and implementation.
  • Network monitoring and management.
  • Create and maintain diagrams, documentation, and guides related to lab infrastructure and setup.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

  • Troubleshooting and triaging of system alerts.
  • Ability to work with other team members to resolve issues.
  • Experience with typical application landscape in an enterprise data center environment.
  • Implementing and maintaining virtualized environments.
  • Strong experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles.
  • Supporting hardware in virtualized environments.
  • Discovering opportunities for automation and developing scripts and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed degree in a technical subject.
  • Related technical certifications (e.g. Linux+, Network+).
  • Basic knowledge of commercial avionics systems.
  • Scripting experience using Python or JavaScript.
  • Server virtualization or AWS/Cloud experience.
