We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our busy community coffee shop in Dublin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, training, supervising, and scheduling staff, ensuring a high standard of customer service, maintaining health, safety, and food hygiene standards (compliance), engaging with customers, and managing stock, suppliers, and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the coffee shop.
  • Train, supervise, and schedule staff.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service.
  • Maintain health, safety, and food hygiene standards (compliance).
  • Engage with customers, including those with additional needs, in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Manage stock, suppliers, and cost controls.
  • Support community engagement and ensure a welcoming environment for families, children, and pet-friendly visitors.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience in hospitality.
  • A barista qualification and compliance training are desirable.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience engaging with customers with disabilities or special needs is an advantage.
