**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Platform Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, operating, and optimizing our messaging and streaming platform.

About the Role

  • Built, operated, and optimized large-scale distributed systems using Java, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and Apache Pulsar.
  • Designed and developed scalable and high-performance features and automation tools to improve system reliability and developer productivity.
  • Troubleshot and resolved production issues quickly and efficiently with minimal downtime.
  • Maintained and improved system monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documented system design, operational runbooks, and best practices for future reference.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Java with a good understanding of common design patterns.
  • Strong experience with streaming and messaging technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and Apache Pulsar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.
  • Experience with Kafka and Flink cluster operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with databases like Oracle, MySQL, Redis.
  • Good understanding of distributed system design: high availability, scalability, fault tolerance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
