Key Roles and Responsibilities

This position will be part of the APIx Dublin team, focusing on developing our API platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the platform strategy to align with company and product goals.
  • Evaluate and improve developer efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Evolve the API platform that powers customer-facing functionality across Atlas, ensuring it meets broad engineering needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the platform meets their needs.
  • Enable the downstream development of declarative tools by ensuring the API platform aligns with their workflows and state management paradigms.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in building production API platforms at scale.
  • Strong background in API lifecycle management, OpenAPI/Swagger or similar.
  • A track record of delivering backwards-compatible APIs and building systems that reduce the risk of breaking changes.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable writing documentation, mentoring teammates, or presenting to leadership.
