About The Business Development Manager Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be accountable for managing existing business within your Territory as well as identifying new business too. Managing the sales and commercial performance of the territory assigned is crucial.

Selling top tier branded drinks into Pubs, Restaurants and Hotels requires developing strong customer relationships within the sales territory to maximize sales opportunities.

Account management - maintaining relationships with existing clients and introducing new products when they become available is critical. Developing your knowledge of products and services as well as industry developments is crucial.

What Skills Are Necessary for This Business Development Position

  • Sales experience within the drinks industry is essential, preferably wine.
  • A passion for wine and the wine industry is required.
  • A WSET qualification is advantageous.
  • Exceptional selling and account management skills are required.

A team player with excellent customer service approach, professional demeanor, articulate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is necessary. A valid driver's license is also required.

What's Included

This role includes a salary of €55-€60k along with Bonus and Benefits.
