Project Coordinator Role

The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer experiences while fostering collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and client representatives.
  • Maintain exceptional standards in health & safety, quality, and client satisfaction, ensuring contracts are completed safely, on time, and to the required standard.
  • Report progress accurately and in a timely manner to senior management.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work meets project requirements.
  • Develop and execute project plans, coordinating resources and schedules to meet contractual obligations.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with construction management teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and scheduling in line with project timelines.
Health and Safety
  • Ensure safe working practices are implemented and maintained, involving site personnel, EHS advisors, and Contracts Manager.
  • Verify contractors' method statements and risk assessments adhere to project requirements.
  • Conduct regular site briefings to ensure interface risks between subcontractors are managed effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and report all safety incidents or accidents promptly.
  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities as needed.
Technical/Quality
  • Oversee site engineering resources to ensure timely execution of setting out and surveying activities for various building trades.
  • Guarantee that projects are delivered to the required standard, meeting client expectations.
  • Liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers, and Services Coordinator to ensure accurate information is provided to subcontractors and site personnel.
  • Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and other issues arising from revised details or on-site situations.
  • Ensure all materials used and work performed comply with project specifications and drawing requirements.
Management
  • Act as primary point of contact for client and designer liaison on site.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and workforce members to ensure timely project completion.
  • Oversee requisition process for materials and plant on site.
  • Stay familiar with contract documents supplied by the Client/architect.
  • Monitor progress against Contract Programme, escalating any delays or potential delays to Contracts Manager for mitigation.
