About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Afterschool Childcare Programme Manager to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our after-school programmes across different sites within your area.
- Manage the daily operations of our after-school programmes across different sites within your area.
- Support and guide a team of managers and staff, ensuring they feel well-trained and confident in their roles.
- Help create fun, creative, and educational activities that meet the needs of children.
- Ensure all safety and safeguarding guidelines are followed.
- Build positive relationships with parents, school staff, and local communities.
- Visit different locations regularly to check centres are meeting our high standards required.
- Assist with staff recruitment and training strategy.
- Keep track of resources and any operational matters across the area.
- Address concerns from parents or staff in a caring and timely manner.
- Overall responsibility for 5-8 afterschool centres.

Your Profile:Essential Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a leadership or management role, ideally in childcare or after-school programs.
Minimum of Level 6 Childcare qualification (or similar field).
A genuine passion for working with children and commitment to providing a nurturing environment.
Fluent English speaker. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable leadership style.
A proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple tasks while staying calm under pressure.
A good understanding of safeguarding practices and child welfare.
Garda vetting and reference checks required for child safety.
A full clean and valid driver's license.
Confidence in speaking the Irish Language.
