About the Role
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect patients' dignity at all times.
  • Support patients with mental and emotional issues under supervision of psychiatrists and other professionals.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as eating and self-care.
  • Monitor and record patients' conditions when directed.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Live our mission, vision and values.
  2. Co-operate with your employer and comply with responsibilities under relevant acts and regulations.
  3. Support therapy and rehabilitation programmes.
  4. Contribute to the safe running of the unit.
  5. Complete documentation, including patient records and timesheets.
Requirements
  • Fetac Level 5 in Health Care or equivalent desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2001.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a similar setting or equivalent.
  • Full Clean Driver's licence or working towards desirable.
  • Strong Communication/Listening skills.
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Strong Observational Skills.
