About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage large-scale environmental projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical oversight to multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Develop and review comprehensive environmental reports, encompassing scoping assessments, impact evaluations, and mitigation strategies.
  • Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles, promoting effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, advocating for best practices and industry standards.
  • Drive business development initiatives, cultivating client relationships and supporting team growth.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of junior team members, empowering them to excel in their roles.


Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in environmental science or a related discipline, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
  • Degree (Master's preferred) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in environmental principles and practices.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
  • Chartered status (e.g. CEnv, MCIWEM, MIEMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.
  • Experience working with public sector bodies, planning authorities, or infrastructure developers is advantageous, highlighting adaptability and versatility.
