Freight Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Logistics Coordinator to support our team with freight planning activities and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with suppliers, understanding the negotiation / procurement process and possess credible communication and negotiation skills at all levels.

This role involves:

  • Supporting month end billing cycle where vendor or customer queries exist
  • Co-ordinating PO requests for month end reconciliations
  • Ensuring rate file effective & expiry dates are current and up to date on SharePoint
  • Archiving outdated commercial buy and sell rates
  • Following up with vendors for rate file updates
  • Checking of queried vendor invoices where ongoing disputes exist
  • Producing commercial KPIs
  • Creating Power Point slides for SLT/QBR
  • Supporting projects related to operational, productivity, cost improvement, process optimisation

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years' experience in freight / logistics / import & export role
  • Experience in working with suppliers
  • Understanding of the negotiation / procurement process
  • Ability to think ahead and plan accordingly
  • Practical problem-solving ability
  • Credible communication and negotiation skills at all levels
  • Ability to identify, develop and implement innovative ideas

About this role

This is a permanent role, 39 hours a week based 5 days on site on the Intel site. Mon-Fri.
