About the Job:

As a seasoned culinary professional, you will lead by example and mentor junior staff members in our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop menus that showcase current culinary trends and traditional cuisine.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house colleagues to deliver exceptional food presentation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentor and guide a small/medium-sized kitchen team, including wash-up and kitchen assistant staff, and chef colleagues.
  • Ensure high standards of communication, leadership, and kitchen hygiene, as well as record keeping and day-to-day applications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Sous Chef role.
  • Current HACCP certification and commitment to highest standards in kitchen hygiene.
  • Familiarity and confidence working with fish and meat, incorporating them into varied menus.
  • Baking skills, including working with pastry, are highly desirable.
