Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for operating machinery and delivering excellent results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and boom lifts safely and efficiently, ensuring maximum productivity and minimizing downtime.
  • Transport materials and equipment across the site with ease, using your knowledge of warehouse logistics to optimize routes and reduce congestion.
  • Assist with the installation of various types of flooring, including vinyl, laminate, timber, and more, utilizing your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times, adhering to company protocols and procedures to ensure a healthy and productive workplace.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, demonstrating your commitment to workplace safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • A valid forklift licence is essential for this role, so please only apply if you have the necessary qualifications and experience.
  • You should also have previous experience operating boom lifts and laying flooring, with a minimum of 3 years' experience preferred.
  • As a physically fit and capable individual, you will be able to handle manual labor tasks with ease and work in a variety of environments.
  • Your strong attention to detail and commitment to quality will enable you to deliver exceptional results and exceed expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and management to achieve common goals.
  • Please note that reliable transport to and from the work-site is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 Years Forklift Experience - If you have extensive experience operating forklifts, we would love to hear from you
  • Previous experience in a flooring or warehouse environment - Your skills and knowledge in these areas will be invaluable to our team.
