Job Overview

The Cloud Solutions Architect is a senior-level position responsible for leading engineering activities, including design, acquisition, and deployment of cloud infrastructure. The role ensures quality standards are met within existing and planned frameworks.

This role suits individuals with strong cloud technology foundations, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure. The ideal candidate will take ownership of solution design, security integration, and cross-platform interoperability. They must be a strong communicator and collaborative problem-solver with a passion for secure, scalable cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions, primarily SaaS cloud services with an emphasis on Microsoft 365.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with enterprise identity and security frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based networking and application performance.
  • Support governance and compliance initiatives, including eDiscovery and data protection.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Core Competencies & Technical Skills

Cloud & Microsoft 365 Expertise:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and security controls.
  • Microsoft M365 Messaging and Collaboration services – Workloads, Purview Information protection, Compliance and data governance.
  • Copilot Design, Controls and governance.
  • Integration with Entra ID (Azure AD).

Cloud Architecture & Networking:

Experience designing and troubleshooting cloud-based solutions.

  • Proxy configurations and PAC files.
  • SASE architecture.
  • DNS, routing, and firewall management.
  • Authentication and Authorization.

Security & Compliance:

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Encryption and data protection.
  • Least Privilege Access principles.
  • Network security best practices.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable presenting technical solutions to management.
Required Qualifications
  • 6–10 years of experience in cloud architecture or engineering roles.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Security Engineer Associate).
  • Experience in enterprise or hybrid cloud environments.
Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
