Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse on the NMBI live register.
- 3 years post-registration experience in a relevant field.
- Hold a recognized managerial qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
- Clinical experience working in older persons care or nursing home care.
- Working experience of HIQA Standards and Health Act Regulations 2013.
- Fluent in English language (verbal and written) and eligible to work in Ireland.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- An understanding of the Assisted Decision-Making process.
- Ability to work well as part of a care team.
- Caring and compassionate with a passion for providing high-quality person-centered care.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems such as excel spreadsheets.
- Good understanding of applications for home supports and NHSS/Fair deal.
