Accounting Team Lead

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent technical skills, and the ability to lead a team of accountants.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of compliance clients covering preparation and review of sole trader accounts and statutory financial statements.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with tax and general consulting issues for clients.
- Provide ad-hoc assistance as required and contribute to the commercial management of the unit.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A qualified Accountant with 3 years' experience in a busy accounting environment.
- Prior practice experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent technical/analytical and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and flexibility as a team player.
- Ability to work independently, taking projects to completion stage for partner/manger review.
- A clean driving license is desirable due to some travel requirements.
