We are seeking a Senior Investment Portfolio Manager to drive investment decisions with macroeconomic insights and expertise in fund and manager research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and select investment funds and managers across asset classes based on their alignment with macroeconomic views and portfolio objectives.
  • Develop and maintain macroeconomic views, thematic research, and scenario analyses to inform strategic asset allocation decisions.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on investment funds and managers to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Produce detailed investment reports and recommendations for our investment committee, highlighting the impact of macroeconomic trends on investment strategies.
Macroeconomic Research & Strategy
  • Translate economic trends into investment implications across asset classes, taking into account factors such as interest rates, inflation, and currency fluctuations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate macroeconomic insights into investment decisions, ensuring alignment with our overall investment strategy.
  • Analyze portfolio performance attribution to understand the impact of macroeconomic factors on investment returns.
Reporting & Communication
  • Develop high-quality written reports and presentations on macroeconomic trends and investment strategies, communicating complex ideas clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support client engagement and business development through thought leadership and tailored insights, showcasing our expertise in macroeconomic research and investment analysis.
Governance & Collaboration
  • Ensure all investment recommendations meet internal governance and regulatory standards, adhering to best practices in investment management.
  • Represent the investment team in meetings with clients and internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on macroeconomic trends and investment strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or Master's in Economics, Financial Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong academic and practical grounding in macroeconomic theory and policy analysis.
  • CFA, CAIA, or progress toward a professional designation is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior investment analyst, economist, or fund research role.
