Senior M&E Coordinator Job Description

Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior M&E Coordinator to oversee the management of service installations for residential and commercial projects in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all service installations according to client specifications and industry standards.
  • Effectively manage services contractors and their related supply chain partners.
  • Analyze data to identify critical sequences and quantify necessary resources.
  • Review and report on project specifications and design drawings.
  • Develop design proposals at various stages, from sketch to production.
  • Plan and manage design team drawings and documentation of design and installation.
  • Coordinate information flow between the design team and services subcontractors.
  • Attend client meetings to provide progress updates.
  • Organize and chair coordination meetings for services subcontractors.
  • Plan work and organize plant and site facilities to meet project deadlines.
  • Review sub-contractor submissions on plant proposals and procurement routes.
  • Inspect, assess, and verify the commissioning of MEP systems on-site.
  • Coordinate timely submission of safety file data for clients.

Requirements:

  • A relevant engineering degree or diploma, or a related discipline, is required.
  • At least 8 years' experience with a main contractor or building services contractor/consultancy is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, and process systems/construction is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative is crucial.
  • A proven track record in commercial, industrial, or residential projects is beneficial.
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g. CIBSE) is advantageous.
