Workshop Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of Commercial Vehicle Master Technicians, Technicians and Apprentices to ensure efficient workflow and optimal productivity.
  • Review and allocate jobs to guarantee timely completion in accordance with manufacturer standards.
  • Collaborate with the Service Team to plan daily vehicle movements through the workshop, maximizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.
  • Provide ongoing review and support of Diagnostics in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within a Dealership or Manufacturer environment.
  • Qualified HGV Technician with at least 5 years' experience working in a busy workshop.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

To succeed as a Workshop Operations Manager, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A commitment to staying up-to-date with all relevant manufacturer standards and training.
  • The ability to prepare for and pass manufacturer and industry performance and compliance audits.
