Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to produce detailed 3D models and create technical drawings in Auto Desk Revit and 2D Auto CAD.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with engineering principles, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Creation: Produce high-quality 3D models in Auto Desk Revit for tender submissions and preliminary design work.
  • Drawing Production: Create and modify 2D drawings including site layouts and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and timely drawing outputs.
  • Technical Interpretation: Interpret technical information and incorporate it into models and drawings as required.
  • Site Support: Participate in occasional site visits to gather information or verify existing conditions.
Requirements:
  • Auto Desk Revit Proficiency: Proficiency in Auto Desk Revit is essential.
  • 2D Tools Experience: Experience with Auto Desk 2D tools (Auto CAD) for layouts and P&IDs.
  • Industry Expertise: Relevant industry experience, ideally in civil or mechanical engineering.
  • BIM Familiarity: Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and tools, including Navisworks.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
