Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Culinary Expert to join our hotel kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes across their designated section.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of food safety procedures, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. They must also have a strong attention to detail and pride in food presentation and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes across your designated section.
  2. Supervise and guide junior chefs, supporting their development and ensuring consistent performance.
  3. Uphold all food hygiene and safety regulations, including HACCP, and ensure your section operates in line with company standards.
  4. Collaborate with senior chefs on menu development, offering seasonal, creative and cost-effective suggestions.
  5. Manage mise en place for your section, ensuring readiness for each service.
  6. Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and apply correct stock rotation practices to minimize waste.
  7. Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment at all times.
  8. Participate in regular kitchen briefings, training sessions and team meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie in a 4-star hotel or similar high-standard kitchen is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in food presentation and consistency.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Candidates must have a legal right to work in Ireland.
