About the Role

We are seeking a senior professional to lead our compliance and quality assurance initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring that all services provided by our organization meet the highest standards of care and adhere to relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance systems, internal audit programmes, and risk management strategies across all services.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, including HSE requirements, data protection, and safeguarding policies.
  • Lead the organisation's readiness for regulatory inspections, provide guidance on care standards, and support the implementation of action plans following inspections.
  • Monitor and analyse incidents, complaints, feedback, and service delivery trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with operational teams to provide training and guidance on compliance-related topics, including safeguarding vulnerable adults and GDPR.
  • Regularly review and update organisational policies and procedures to reflect best practice and current legislation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a compliance, governance, or quality assurance role within health or social care.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE standards, the Health Act 2007, and other relevant Irish legislation.
  • Experience with internal audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
