Job Title: Regulatory Risk Manager
Role Summary:
The Regulatory Risk Manager will play a key role in the Enterprise Internal Ratings Based Programme within AIB's Risk Function. The programme aims to deliver a comprehensive IRB infrastructure and model suite, ensuring regulatory compliance, capital management, and enhanced business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of IRB regulatory requirements.
- Provide regulatory guidance to colleagues.
- Attend various fora to provide regulatory input on proposals.
- Manage the Regulatory Workstream ways of working with other workstreams in the Programme.
- Build effective relationships with colleagues within/outside the programme.
- Communicate outcomes and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ Years experience of interpreting prudential regulatory requirements and/or knowledge of credit risk control environment.
- Strong relationship-building/decision making skills to successfully collaborate with senior leaders in cross-functional areas.
- Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environment.
- Strong influencing skills to challenge solutions and requirements with stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
