Information Security Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our IT infrastructure, data, and applications from cyber threats.

The successful candidate will monitor systems, analyse vulnerabilities, implement security solutions, and respond to security incidents to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring multiple security technologies and events using the Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tool to detect and identify IT security-related incidents.
  • Supporting the implementation of enterprise-wide security frameworks, policies, and reference architectures.
  • Defining and promoting company-wide IT security best practices and policies.
  • Staying current on cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Collaborating with security team members to develop, deploy, and monitor security solutions.
  • Researching/evaluating emerging cybersecurity threats and ways to manage them.
  • Investigating security alerts and providing incident response.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in information security in a similar role.
  • A strong passion for cybersecurity and a keen interest in IT.
  • A good working knowledge of various security technologies such as SIEM, Vulnerability Management, and anti-virus software.
  • An understanding of common information security controls/management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with penetration testing, incident management, and tabletop exercises.
