About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client's accounting and finance team. As a member of the leadership team, you will contribute to the development of financial strategies and projects that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and projects.
  • Lead the accounting and finance team.
  • Oversee tax, audit, and compliance activities.
  • Manage corporate budgets and assist in commercial decision-making processes.
  • Grow and expand the finance team.

Requirements:

  • A 3rd-level degree qualified or above in a relevant discipline.
  • 5-6+ years' experience in an FC/FM or other senior level accounting role.
  • Fully qualified accountant ideally with a Big4 training background.
  • Prior experience from a start-up type environment would be a major advantage but is not essential.
  • Experience from the pharma, medical devices, or related sectors would be an advantage.
  • High-level interpersonal skills and proven ability to multitask and lead projects.
  • Strong IT skills and understanding of financial legislation.

The Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range, excellent benefits including pension, healthcare, and significant annual bonus. The role is hybrid with 2-3 days in office and the balance from home/remote. We are unable to consider candidates with restricted visas or those requiring sponsorship.
